Ingredients

  • 1 large ribeye steak
  • Meat Mitch Steer Season, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1-2 tablespoons Meat Mitch WHOMP! Sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Kosher salt, to taste, if using unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye: generously season both sides with Steer Season. Let the steak sit while you preheat the grill.
  2. Make the WHOMP! Compound Butter: in a small bowl, combine the softened butter, WHOMP! Sauce, minced garlic, parsley, and black pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed.
  3. Grill the ribeye: preheat your grill for high-heat cooking -- we love firing up a Hasty Bake charcoal grill with Royal Oak Charcoal for this one. Place the ribeye on the hot grill and cook, flipping as needed, until it reaches your desired internal temperature. For medium-rare, remove around 125–130°F and let rest before serving.
  4. Add the WHOMP!: while the steak is still hot, top it with a generous spoonful of WHOMP! Compound Butter. Let the butter melt over the ribeye, then slice and serve.
  5. Mitch Tip: make extra WHOMP! Compound Butter and keep it in the refrigerator -- throw it on steaks, burgers, grilled vegetables, corn, or anything else that could use a little extra WHOMP!

Cooking is supposed to be fun, Pods!
